This is my first official post on my new blog and, would you believe it, I’ve gone all shy. Give me an hour or two and I’ll try to compose myself. In the meantime, if there’s anything you’d like to see here, let me know. I’m in an obliging sort of mood…

Hello, neighbour fellow WordPresser and welcome to your new home. Wishing you many happy blogging years here. x
Thanks, Jen! Will you be at Elizabeth’s launch on Wednesday? I’ll be dropping in…
Yes, I will be there – it’ll be lovely to see you again after all this time!
It certainly will!
Hello dear Charles. We’ve missed you! I, too, have been thinking of switching VV over to WordPress … was the conversion just awful? Hope you’re well. W.
Well, I’ve decided to make a virtue – simplicity – out of necessity – can’t work out how to do the simplest things on WP! Not a bad life-lesson… I’m OK. How are you?
Nice new place, Charles.
Thanks, Nik!
Best wishes for the new blog!
Thank you, Matthew! Good to hear from you…
Good to see you’re back, Charles. I like the look of your new blog. All the best!
Thanks Rob, all my best to you both!
Great to find you blogging again (I was checking every so often to see Wolverhamption Fusion had been superceded!) really like the new picture of ancient fresco – the dog WAS starting to look sad and rigid rather than perky and playful!
And now I’ve tracked you down to your new home, I will of course be dropping in more often.
Joanna
Excellent! And you’re so right about that dog…
Hi Charles – I like the new look. Trendily minimalist.
What can’t be fixed, must be nixed…
Nice pad, Charles.
Oh, but paceJoanna, I always liked the dog.
Now you’re forcing me to have favourites! I liked the dog too. Maybe we should solve the problem in the only rational way. Which is better – dog or ancient fresco? There’s only one way to find out. Fight!
