It is shocking that McCain might have won the election with this woman as his VP. He doesn't seem to care that they didn't vet her. However gormless, she remains dangerous as the poster girl for the teabaggers,* who are Christianist, resentful, wilfully ignorant, and righteously armed. *Yes, I know what it says in Urban Dictionary, but that's what Tea Partiers have called themselves.
I still can't free myself from Lily Savage's use of the term, Anne! But yes, we're right to be worried…
